Both sides are idiots. Palestine's for thinking it was a smart idea to start slamming rockets into a place that could wipe you off the face of the map, and Israel for deciding to take their anger out on innocent Palestinians living in Israel.
Haven't heard about the Israelis attacking innocent Palestinians (don't watch the news) but, if it is happening I agree with you. I am a big supporter of attacking only those who harmed you first. That is a problem around the world though. We blame everyone in a specific culture for the crimes of a few. I like the old Biblical eye for and eye and leave it at that.

I see deeeeeeeee is still at it. Minimizing the violence and terror the ‘pals’ are committing.

Overgrown bottle rockets, eh? Wonder if you’d still call them same thing if they were being lobbed at your neighborhood, your child’s school, or your local hospital?

Pathetic as always.

You missed the point, I'm non minimizing the violence I'm just pointing out the crudeness of these devices, these things are unsophisticated, unguided, uncontrolled objects similar to a bottle rocket, You light it and point it and it goes in one general direction and that's it - where it hits is anyone's guess. It's a foolish effort by Hamas, and will only result in an Israeli response bringing more civilian casualties on their own.

Deemed foolish by you but not condemned by you.....hmmmm. Seems you're disappointed they don't have better destructive devices to use.

You seem to be reading a lot of things into my posts that I didn't say. For the record I condemn all violence which will accomplish nothing as has been the result in the past and I support the efforts of our government under both Ds and Rs to promote a negotiated peace settlement in that region.

They are rockets - given by Iran who used US dollars to procure them - aimed at killing any and all innocent Israeli civilians. To compare them to bottle rockets is the DEFINITION of minimizing.

But deeeeeeeeeeeeee is gonna deeeeeeeeeeeee.

My use of the term "overgrown bottle rocket" was actually a disparaging way of describing their technical crudeness, in a way to underscore the stupidity of their use. Any other meaning you have taken from that you have imagined.

Well ok then.....you condemn the attacks on Israel by the Palestinians then?

Yeah, there's been videos I have seen that are just beyond out of bounds in terms of attacking/killing innocent people and doctors trying to help those people. Both sides need to stop their ego-battle and us sending in money or troops doesnt do anything but further escalate things, we need to just stay out of it.

This war was going on well before the United States was a twinkle in George Washington’s eye and it’ll be going on until the earth is torched one way or another
Palestine was relatively peaceful under the Ottoman Empire.

One of the dumbest things to come out of WW1 was dismantling the moderate Ottomans. We could deal with them.

Haha, so the media stood in the perfect spot with cameras ready for an airstrike...and then claim they were given no advanced notice of the strike, and lived by pure luck. Got it....

Media is the true enemy of the world...
I thought they did give advance warning -- about an hour? -- so people could evacuate the buildings.

They did, but the AP came out after the fact and claimed they didn't receive warning. They actually said they survived due to luck.

100% the media is the worst part of the world. Anchorman 2 is perfect satire. If you haven't watched it in awhile, watch it again. If you never have, watch it. It's hilarious and is exactly what is wrong with media.

We're in it whether you like it or not. By funding Iran, we are arming Hamas. Iran is the centerpoint in all of this. The Palestine issue is a ruse.

The Sunni Arab states are much more fearful of Iran right now than they are Israel. That's helped create the Abraham Accords as all these countries view Iran as the common enemy. However Iran's extension in the region doesn't have much do with the Iran nuclear deal which included release of frozen funds, the real catalyst was the failed war in Iraq which allowed the Shi'ites to advance past what has historically been the Iraq buffer and reach their influence into other areas of the Mideast.
