So Lebby puts in Shapen after Kamario leads us to 14 points. Shapen uncorks a rocket high on his first pass and Arkansas picks it. Sometimes it's just time to move on from the veteran. KT ain't perfect, but give the kid some experience. His scrambling ability is off the charts and that counts for a lot.

I would have KT in the game too but that interception was not Shapen’s fault. Regardless, the offense was actually scoring with Taylor. It was not very pretty much they were scoring

Shapen puts up numbers and can occasionally throw a nice deep ball. But he’s not mobile at all (no matter what he thinks) and he just doesn’t have that leader mentality that gets the team behind him. He’s not a complete loser, but he’s absolutely not capable of bearing the title of SEC qb any longer.

Bringing Shapen off the bench was the wrong call. Leaving him in after as the right call.

Well, it worked out so I‘d say it was the right call. As I said in the game thread, I would have left KT in. Shapen showed why he was the starter on the last two scoring drives though. You can’t really argue with that.

I like the mobility of KT as well. But to Shapens credit, he threw some dimes on the final drive. He can’t take that sack, but I’m going to enjoy this W for the weekend!

That pass was high and hard, but it was a catchable pass. That wasn’t all on Shapen.
