Martinsville didn't lose a ton in terms of numbers, but did lose a fair amount of key players. MHS only had one QB on the roster a year ago. And when he wasn't on the field, they went wildcat. Both of those guys graduated. A huge chunk of the line play is gone as well.
The Dogs do welcome a kid back to town that had moved away for a few years that is a potential game changer. He is just the type of athlete that could flourish in a spread.
To me, the obvious questions are at QB and on the lines. Then can the kids adjust to a new coach and system all while playing a fairly brutal schedule that includes GW, Magna Vista, William Byrd and Dan River? That's a gauntlet.
