I’m actually pretty confident he picks Kentucky. I think he’s comfortable with Stein and the direction UK is heading in. I also have to think as far as NIL goes, UK is offering pretty close to what these other schools have. I don’t think they can pay for the “role players” as well as those other schools. I actually agree with this. I don't think there's a huge gap between what NIL Kentucky will offer for a single recruit versus those other schools. The difference is probably the amount available for good depth.
Probably the opposite for us in basketball. Our total budget in basketball is probably higher than 98% of schools, but that doesn't mean another school can't outbid us for an individual player.
Big time players like to play for big time programs and compete for something meaningful. We certainly are not a big time program but have shown under Stein in just one year we can compete for something meaningful which is really what it’s all about (other than the NIL obviously). Do think we have a very good shot to land this kid. Even if we don’t the portal is open every year.

Rivals has him at 98% UK. I just read his profile and he is a beast. Just turned 16 and 6'4 1/2 inches tall and 273 pounds and running 4.8 forties!
I’d be surprised if we don’t get him. There’s no much optimism around the program, who wouldn’t want to be part of it?!??

Seneca Driver makes no sense. I know Witten is the TE coach but who wants to play in an offense that struggles to score 14 points in a game?
Hall going to ND next weekend for the Miami game. It will be his 5th visit to ND.
Still gotta bring him home. Gonna be tough but I think we do it.
He is a game changer on the field. I would so love to add bullets for Stein like him..... we can be epic special next year getting players like this. To think this might be (what many will consider from now on) Will Stein's "least" talented with the fewest talented players to having teams loaded and truly deep with star players that have "more" talent....
