I like how they let the profanity slip right on by. Modern "news" papers.

I love the "Marshall has freedom of speech to say whatever he wants" comments. Most people genuinely don't seem to understand what freedom of speech is, and that it only protects you from being charged with a crime.

Sure, Henderson has every legal right to say whatever stupid garbage he wants to say without being thrown in jail- just like Hugh Kellenberger and everyone else has every legal right to call him a dumbass for saying it.

ETA: And yes, it looks like Kellenberger thoroughly enjoyed writing that article.

I kind of enjoyed how quick Bjork was to throw Henderson under the bus too.

Why were the repetitive, misogynistic #whitegirlwednesday tweets ok until now?

eta: Kellenberger seems a little late in the game on that one. If he's going to use that now he should've been opining on it while Henderson was still playing.

Bjork too for that matter.

Perhaps had he not been able the past two years, we wouldn't be here today, nor would we have the worries we have about tomorrow going forward. And by we, I mean them.

Marshall Henderson didn't say anything bigoted

I get the impression he's been waiting 2 years for the chance to write this.

Link

He's obnoxious, loud-mouthed, and makes poor decisions. However, he has friends of all races and he doesn't have a racist bone in his body.

My first thought too, bjork and kellenberger come across

As pretty chickenshit in this scenario.

This is nothing new from Marshall. Kellenberger has had every opportunity to write something like this and he never has. Bjork could have stepped up and told AK to control that goon or his job would be on the line and he never did.

now it's finally a good time to call him out on his behavior? Guess that's the oxford culture, show them off, use people then talk **** about them when they're no good to you anymore. Bravo oxford.

I agree with you 100%. Ole Miss stood by while Henderson made a fool of himself and the university, because he could help them win games at that point. They also stood by while he was arrested for drug charges and not just weed but hard heavy drugs. All because he could help them win or so they thought. However, now that he can't help them he's suddenly someone who "does not get it". He has never gotten it.

Kellenberger really shouldn't have written this

As funny as I think it is personally it really does make him look like a chicken **** hack. Why not call out bjork and Kennedy for never doing a damn thing about him? He calls it a slap on the wrist himself after the arrest this summer, why not interview bjork or ak and grill them on why the suspension was a joke?

its the culture there now, we joke about it but this is a prime example of letting the inmates run wild. Can't call them out when leave. No accountability up there.

Is touhy running everything???

He knew this article would be generally accepted and praised by the "press" so he wrote it to get a little pub. and love. Hell Godfrey may become his friend on face book now......the sky is the limit.

Didn't even think of it that way, but it's very true.

Henderson's been doing this crap since the day he got on campus, and as soon as they're done using him to win games, Bjork throws him under the bus. It's not like this is new behavior, but you didn't really seem to give a **** when he helped win games. Bjork had plenty of chances to put his foot down and Kellenberger could have written this before about five times, but they both wait until he's gone to call him out on it.

That comes across as very chickenshit and cowardly now that I look at it that way.

Exactly. They cover for him and make excuses for him for 2 years, then as soon as his eligibility is gone, they both go out of their way to throw him under the bus over this. Where was the outrage over the last 2 years?
