I don't keep up with MLB that much, but I remember reading that he had shifted from starting pitcher to a relief pitcher a few years ago, and that he bulked up and started throwing harder for that role?

It's crazy the changes guys make nowadays. I always thought of him as a rubber-arm pitch to contact guy at MSU who could ring it up to 90. Now he's a power pitcher, along with the injuries that come from that. Guess that's the name of today's game.
