that MSU could host with a good week. I'm assuming a 3-1 week would put us in his hosting projections.

We've still got issues with this team. We need to situational hit better. We need somebody besides Ross, holder, and bracewell to step up in the bullpen. We also need to find a role for Evan and woodruff (could be bullpen). If we address these issues, we could go from good to great.

There's a difference between being an "excellent team" and "playing excellently". I'm someone that looks at the first metric to judge the team moreso than the second one. I know how good this team CAN be -- and as aggravating as it at times, I'm fine with that potential not being fully met just yet. Baseball teams never play up to their potential consistently for an extended period of time. I'd rather be just slightly better than we've been being -- and save the true excellence for June...

No way...

They will keep winning because they've got consistent, dominant starting pitching. But they'll never maintain this pace at the plate. Some concern among their more realistic baseball fans down there that they may be peaking at the wrong time...
