Sounded like they thought he really didn't belong at the game. Good luck to the guy though. He probably made the best decision he could make for his career.

Ole Miss would've taken Hardy in a heartbeat, but Tim Simon and Rodney Scott committed and Willie Ferrel and a few others figure to fill the linebacker spots. The reality is he waited until it got tough. He may have liked USM better, but its not a huge blow.

No, I'm just saying he made a good decision. If he wanted to play RB, he was going to be fighting an uphill battle at Ole Miss. At USM, he'll have a shot.

And I'm not going to search out the link, but there is one out there about the Army AA game, where they go through each prospect, and they essentially say about Hardy, 'good kid, but he didn't look like he belonged at the game'.

I don't know what position he was being recruited to play at Ole Miss, but it probably wouldn't have ended up RB.

As you look down your long patrician nose....

I can guarantee you I'd be singing a different tune if he were a 6'6, 300 lb offensive tackle, but he's a RB and one whose stock has been dropping lately. From what I hear, Hardy really was hoping to get an LSU offer, but that wasn't happening.

This is what's "wrong" with this board. (Since Ole Miss people like to point it out to us). Someone says one thing that may not be positive towards Ole Miss and the entire NAFOOM board comes over here to defend it.

This thread wasn't about Ole Miss. You're the one that brought us into it. I just said that I thought it was probably the best decision for him. But yea, we didn't want him anyway yada yada. Apparently MSU never really wanted him either.

I'll go ahead and get these out there as well. We don't really want Marlon Brown, Reuben Randle, or Raymond Cotton either, and there is a chance that Pat Patterson may be falling down on our board...if he chooses Bama that is.
