He was projected as around a 6th round pick.

The Chiefs certainly like the SEC. I think they have drafted well.

FS who runs a 4.73 at the combine will have a hard time in the NFL. Huge reach by the Chiefs. Probably why they suck every year.

but he can play, and he'll probably be used on special teams coverage units a good bit. That's the best thing Nutt did for him, having him do kick and punt coverage. He's not a stud, but he's got a chance to stick around as a back up for a few years.

You think they would have drafted him if they didn't think his speed was ok?

Jarius Byrd has similar speed. He made 2nd team ALL PRO last year.

but I wouldn't use the 40 time as an example. Some guys just don't run the 40 well. Football speed and track speed are two completely different things. Lewis doesn't have superb speed, but his football speed is better than his track speed.
