Dude is a stud. I’m from the ND area and all the fans love him. I will remain positive and not comment on our staff’s inabilities

Curious based on what? He's a 3 year backup at ND, and they portal recruited over him all three years. Although, he does appear to be the best of the names I've seen thrown around so I guess I'll be positive too.

Phenomenal athlete. Nebraska is obviously going into a power spread offense. He’s a good fit for this. More athletic than Lateef and bigger. I have my doubts about the coaching he will receive here but I’m glad we are finally moving towards an offense and identity we need to have

At least he is a Junior so more physically ready, plus he was a part of an actual QB competition at ND. Lateef knew all along with Dylan here he was most likely not playing unless in mop up time.
ND booster friend of mine with deep connections told me the QB battle with Minchey and Carr was very tight.

He also told me that players loved Marcus Freeman's culture so much, that players like Minchey would be satisfied being 2nd string 😂.

Definitely better than what we have, but I would rather be taught to play QB by Denbrock than this current clown show.

In the portal era, this is about meaningless. Ole Miss is in the semifinals carried by a QB who showed up last spring from D2.
Correct QB recruiting is so meh for me from the high school ranks. I mean if we had a Lincoln Riley who was great at getting freshmen to be elite that would be one thing. At this point i think more about how good we would have been in 2024 with Kyle Mccord and other portal QBs. Rhule's staff has not shown me a great job in developing HS qbs.

Come to think of it, every team left in the playoffs has a transfer QB.
Minchey seems like a solid get but only has 15 pass attempts at ND. So a bit of an unknown in college action.

I wouldn't pencil Minchey in as starter, but I think it's a good pickup. I'm not convinced our qb coach is any good.

Are you thinking this is QB pickup one of two, or that TJ beats him out? Personally, I'd be stunned if Minchey isn't coming in to start.

Hopefully there is a legit competition with one more addition to the ring.
I would hope there would be a legit competition regardless of who we bring in. And yes, I believe TJ is fully capable of winning such a competition.

Looks good to me.

Agree.

What very little my ametuer eyes know about evaluating Quarterbacks.
- strong enough arm with quick release
- throws well on move
- athletic enough
- smart runner who took some contact, but avoided unnecessary contact that could lead to injury or fumbles.

Again I don't know **** and that was a short video of mop up, so here's hoping.

Trae will stay committed, or he won’t. I have felt that he would stay committed only if progress stays on track. Things are shaky and so is he. No surprise.

3-9 will not get Rhule fired in 2026. Unless you've got $70M you're willing to put up? It's not happening.
Umm. 3 wins might shake the money tree and it should. I think we’re pot committed to Rhule but 3 wins unless caused by multiple QB injuries would give the most ardent Rhule groupies the shakes.
