and I wouldn't be surprised if Pollard signs with us right after Stricklin announces Payne as the coach. I think he will get talent. Can he coach though? I hope he brings some great assistants too. Only thing I don't like is Calipari selling Payne to us. That seems arrogant to me for some reason. Maybe not though. If Calipari helps MSU get a great coach than I will have new found respect for him.

Payne will be able to recruit but so could Stansbury. I posted last weekend that it was down to Payne and Dooley but so much has changed since then no one really knows at this point. I will say that I would rather have Payne than Drew or Dooley. I'm suppose to talk to my guytomorrowand I will see if he has any updates.

Why would Cal sell Payne to us like he did? Just being a good guy and helping his assistant with a career? Or something deeper? Thought it was a little odd but maybe I'm reading too much into it.
