Question do you think State lost Cam Newton because Kenny talked Cecil into asking for money? And Auburn didn't pay a dime for Cam. Cam was running from the situation and committed to Auburn. Hence the comments from Slive. Wait until all the facts are presented/

Just wanted not what others were thinking. Living in Alabama, I guess I'm to close this issue. The Aubie keep saying that they didn't do anything wrong. And given the comments form Slive, I'm worried that State may be the fall guy.

I think they have to find a money trail or State is going to take one for the team (SEC).

My theory is that Aubarn paid a 1st installment, then Slive made Jacobs aware we turned them in...i'm guessing the future payments were either hidden remarkably well, or discontinued...

Okay Coach34... Just hope State makes it through this mess without taking a hit. I think the money trail is key to AU losing the title. I really believe the Auburn Guys are pros at funneling money to players without getting caught. But the FBI is looking into this issue. But you never know. I think anyone can be bought. So who know how hard they will look. I also think Slive, Auburn and NZAA are all in bed together (Cause it all about the money). And they will do all they can to white wash this issue.

Question... Say the State does bring charges. Can Mississippi touch him? He's in GA...

I'm not a lawyer but if we put out a warrant out for his arrestand he is pulled over for a traffic violation in another state say Alabama,they could possibly keep him and send him to us. Hell I'm probably wrong.

States extradite criminals to other states all the time. If they didn't, all a criminal would have to do to evade jail would be head to the next state over from the one he committed a crime in. Now if Cecil runs off to Cuba, then that would be another story....
