This is the best thing for the program. I love top schools coming after our recruits and it's a test to see where we stand with the big boy recruiting. Can we hold?
A couple of years ago, Kevin Sumlin had a chance at the Southern Cal job. He should have taken it.Yeah, Sumlin's seat will get hotter and hotter. As for Herman, he's eventually headed to the NFL.
It's certainly not an infallible predictor of what recruits will actually end up doing, but over on TOS their Crystal Ball feature has two picks today for Jones to commit to A&M. Obviously hope it doesn't go down like that. We'll see ....
Lol, what?I agree with grumpy.....The trajectory of the Aggie program is much worse than Kentucky. A 6 win season in College Station this year and they will be looking for a new head coach.
Yeah, what QB would pick A&M over UK.Apparently a 5*qb just decommitted from them alone with a couple more. They are a mess right now, and it appears Sumlin has no idea how to slow the slide. Unless Jones is not very smart I wouldn't worry too much about him and A&M and I can't imagine a qb not being pretty smart.
This thread goes back 5 months. A&M at the time was going through some transition. Hindsight is 20/20, man.Yeah, what QB would pick A&M over UK.
Still funny.I agree with grumpy.....The trajectory of the Aggie program is much worse than Kentucky. A 6 win season in College Station this year and they will be looking for a new head coach.

Not mad - just think these type of "I-told-you-so" posts 5 months after the fact are kinda silly.Jesus man, yall get mad over everything.
I don't think your guys realize what a mess A&M is right now. I don't know what's going on, but normally you don't have your 1st and 2nd string qbs transfer during the off season unless something isn't right inside the program. Outside the Johnny Football years A&M has fought to stay out of 7th place in the SEC west and could be doing the same this year. I won't be surprised to see UK have a better season than A&M in 16 and them looking for a new coach. Then Tom Herman most likely makes his way to the SEC, Texas has been mentioned as his goal, but I think its either one of the big name teams in Texas.
