My gosh people.JRG don't take this personally, you are just the next person in line here. But this board has become nothing more than a 17-ing information booth the last week or so. I myself think it's the bandwagon crew that starts getting interested once we win a game or two. So how about this primer for all you folks.

1. TV games are announced by the SEC along with ESPN/CBS (those are called television partners) on the Monday 2 weeks prior to the game. The networks reserve the right to "hold" certain games and make a final decision approximately 6 days out in order to insure they get the matchups they want on the correct networks.

2. If you don't know if your local cable provider carries the channel on which our game is going to be broadcast, a more direct and informative way of finding out rather than trusting another guy on a message board is to google your cable provider, insert your zip code, and by golly you can review the list of channels your area receives. You might even find that it varies some based on how cheap your *** in in terms of what package you subscribe to. If you actually care about sports, and didn't just get interested, chances are you will have the correct tier.

3. If you are going to be out of town and are looking for advice on where to watch a game, or do the blind date hook up with another Sixpacker to watch the game, this can be a bit creepy but at the same time is the most understandable and tolerable of the information posts. However, before you post, at least give it some thought and check out a few places online.,...the best part about that is that you may be able to google map it and if you are lucky you may even can view the menu/beer selection.

4. If you don't have friends to tailgate with...and you think you need to advertise for complete strangers to do that with at a game...do you really wnat to go? Just sayin....

I think I covered everything and I apologize for being a total *** but my gosh I'm tired of every other post being what time the game is, where is it being shown, and who wants to sit on a loveseat and watch it with me.

DS...ban the next guy that asks!!! jk

To come on a MSU website and post a question directly related to MSU. What a dick.

posting it twice with Fred Flintstone as your avatar. Tell ya what. If there was a way to have the post go directly to Genespage I think that would be more appropriate.

Look jackass...all I am saying is that people need to start stopping and thinking and doing a little of their own research before they make the 200th post asking the same question. If you can't understand that, go dream of Wilma.

The more you post the dumber you actually appear.

The double post was a yuku problem, not user error. You on the other hand are an idiot, this is a state sports website and it is absolutely appropriate to post questions about state sports here.

How bout this, if you don't like what is being posted here, stay the *%!@ away?

It is ridiculous that someone feels the need to respond to a thread they don't like. I don't like the FARk threads so I don't read them. I don't complain about the damn things and ***** at DS or whoever starts them.

I am glad you guys hate people asking questions about state on TV but I don't imagine that is going to change but you guys bitching about it is fun.

It's a message board. People post stupid things. People say smartass things they would most likely not say in person to another person. Some people lie about their gambling wins, high school coaching record, and hospital confrontations. It's just what it is.

The " look at me" posters like yourself bring down this site much more than the ones You are complaining about. I hope they ban You for your fake *** rant.

I appreciate your info. Because of your rant, I am now able to tell everybody exactly what not to do on a message board. And you didn't even answer my question. A simple, "No, game time has not yet been announced," would have been sufficient except you had to go and write a short story of how you're the authority on what people should/should not do on a message board.

Was all that really necessary? Next time just don't respond.
