I can't let the Dame Sarr dream die. IMHO, the dude would be the most athletic front court player on the team.

If we get Sarr we are title contender. I watched more tape on him . He got better year after year. I think I am not wrong to say if he dresses in Kentucky blue jersey, he might be the best pro we got since SGA. This kid has everything to become a superstar in NBA.

If I was Pope this is a must get. He can do everything and is very coachable. He can handle, he can pass and loves to pass to make his teammates look better, can score inside, midrange , from outside and he can play defense. I love how he moves his feet and walls up and active hands. If we get him he will be the best player on our roster by tournament time.

The Barca commentator calls him “bestia” and “animal” for his athleticism.

What impressed me is despite his frame, he is seeking contact both in offense and defense and seems to make the right decision with ball. For 19 years old , he is impressive because he has good fundamentals too.

Are we still looking at Sarr after getting Aberdeen?

Sarr was asking Illinois for somewhere between 1-2 million.

To me Sarr would be our best player next to Oweh. I hope staff is still actively recruiting Sarr.
Different positions. Could use 1 more front court player. I do not care how many players we currently have, you take a Sarr type player if he is possible. If the other players at his position have issues with it, maybe work on your game and beat somebody for minutes.

Apparently, college is very much an option for Dame Sarr . Illinois still wants him if they agree on the money, and now I heard Duke is showing interest.

I really hope that Kentucky is still looking at Sarr. Now that Perry is gone we need one more player. Sarr would be such a stud for us.

I’d love to get him. Keep Oweh, add Dame, we would be stacked and title favorite.

I didn’t know he was a donor for them. Thanks
Yeah he funds every athletic department imaginable there, it’s why they always have cutting edge uniforms and 100 color ways. He graduated from Oregon and founded the company there. He ran track for Oregon in the 60’s before he started the original company BRS. I would have him be the defacto NIL GM for the whole school, I bet he could find a couple retired Nike executives to run that so well.

I would like him but we have 12 or 13 guys already. Someone will leave if this kid comes but I think we are done.

That's exactly what will happen. Before you know it, it will be used in recruiting against us. "They'll just recruit over you". I mean, damn, be grateful for what you have, let these players get settled as Wildcats.

Perry was going to play at best 5 minutes a game. So no we aren't still looking for a high impact player. The roster is set, at least for the guys that will actually contribute a large amount.

Where did you see this at?
No offense but that is just common sense. We aren't bringing in another guy that will expect major minutes. We have 12 guys already that are all good enough to see good minutes on the court, no chance we are adding a 13th that is a first roundish talent.

Kentucky is staying in touch with Sarr just as insurance against the unlikely event that Oweh goes nuts in the NBA tryouts and gets a first-round offer.

It’ll be Otega or Sarr. Not both.
If Sarr is as good as everyone says he is, why isn't he going through the process like Oweh is?
Oweh isn't even listed as a second rounder, but he's still going through the process. If Sarr isn't even good enough to go through the process and is merely waiting on Oweh's decision, then he must not be as good as we think he is.

Is Sarr a first found talent this year? I haven't been following him, if he is a first round talent, why isn't he going through the process?

Sarr will end up at Duke.

Duke will take a step back, but will still be talented.

Foster, Sarr, Evans, Boozer, and Ngongba will be a pretty solid starting lineup. Brown will probably be their sixth man. They will be young, besides Foster and Brown. They will likely get a couple guys from the portal to fill out their roster.

Yeah I couldn’t imagine we would be bringing in another guy capable of playing a lot of minutes at this point unless Oweh left unexpectedly.

I know that I was asking where he saw that Kentucky was still interested in Sarr
