each school was given only 400 tickets including family, band cheerleaders, etc....

One guess is they're allowing anybody with a family/friend/official traveling party ticket from any of the 12 schools in. And KY fans have bought a lot of those tickets from the schools that have been eliminated.

That could be a potential PR nightmare. 20,000 fans showing up for 8,000 seats with little time for police/security to prepare for it, not to mention that many police/security would be working on the downtown cleanup and the St. Patrick's Day Parade (if it's not cancelled).</p>
