If memory serves me correctly, that was the dedication came of the WVU Coliseum?
I am a UK 1976 graduate. I for one am very disappointed the SEC did not invite WVU into the SEC. While there geographically is even a stronger argument for WVU to be in today's ACC, regardless, I thought it would be great for WVU to be in the SEC for basketball and football.
Maybe because of the great relationship that Cal and Huggins have, that a home and home or annual neutral site game can be possible.
UK-WVU annually in basketball and football would be great. It is a natural.

The '71 team could have been one of WVU's very best, instead it was the most unlucky one. It was loaded with talent, Wil Robinson, Levi Phillips, Sam Oglesby, Curtis Price, Larry Harris, before tragedy befell it.
