when you hire Calipari. Proven everyplace he's been. He wins, but there's a price to pay eventually. UMass still hasn't recovered. Memphis suddenly finds themselves in the NIT. He's the Jackie Sherrill of college basketball.

They are both real good about controlling all that rif raf. But if they let up just one millisecond, well, see 2001-03. Hopefully Calipari meets that same fate. I can't stand that mfer.
is that Calipari knows how to play the media like a fiddle. He had all but one Memphis columnist and journalist completely fooled and basically massaging his balls on a daily basis. He was a god here. Sherrill, well I think we all know that wasn't one of his strong suits, media relations. But he definitely doesn't leave anyone without an opinion of himself. People either worship or loathe John Calipari, much like with Sherrill. I feel like eventually, it will catch up to him. It's hard to stay bulletproof forever. I hope he takes UK down in a Hindenberg-like manner.
I went to 2 games this year. I would not be surprised to see them back, but I'm not sure they'll get back to the Final Four level.
