Bravo John Clay for calling it like it is... Stansbury's teams'
performances are a reflection of their lack of discipline and focus,
which is a direct reflection on their coaching. They lack a will to win
and that is, in part, down to coaching. Pot shots at former players,
constant complaining about the officiating, crying about NCAA decrees,
etc... Meanwhile his players fight in the stands, forget to withdraw
their name from the NBA draft on time, can't win games in conference
play that they should, try and trip players when calls don't go their
way, shove them in the back when the game is all but over, and in
general lack discipline. They get up for one game a year (UK) and expect
to be patted on the back for losing... again.
Mississippi State is
likely the second most talented team in the SEC behind UK. Yet somehow
they manage to lose to LSU, Auburn, and GA (at home)? Then they blow a
13 point halftime lead to UK in the Hump and all Stansbury has to say
(multiple times) is that Hood being out was huge. Oh, and that everyone
saw how hard his team fought... UK finished on a 20-4 run; that's not
Hood being out, that's not Miss St fighting hard, that's UK and
Calipari's will to win. As soon as Miss St. got behind, they all hung
their heads and acted like someone had stolen their tater tots. I think
Stansbury is certain that John Calipari stole his tater tots, which is
why his team lost. </div> </div><div style="width: 1px; height: 1px; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font: 10pt sans-serif; text-align: left; text-transform: none; overflow: hidden;">

The stats below show that KY played 6 guys with significant minutes, while MSU played 7. So lack of depth is an excuse KY can use, not MSU. We just looked like we have no depth because our guys are gassed so frequently from poor conditioning. ## Player Name FG-FGA FG-FGA FT-FTA OF DE TOT PF TP A TO BLK S MIN

Really? Your boy coach34 and fish were on here last night saying we had just as much talent. Of course that's when we were winning and they needed something to deflect.Everyone knows KY is more talented
perch0 said:Sid played 1 min over half of the game and it wasn't because he was gassed. Just go watch the game again and look at the fouls called on Sid and look at non calls even some of them on Sid. It is a joke the way BB is called. After one of the BS calls the refs made two of our guys including Sid mauled a man and we knocked the ball out of bounds and they gave us the ball. When we went to the other end of the floor they called another nick pick foul on guess who.
Granted you have to play through this kind of thing and when you get a total BS call like the two men fouling Lewis on the dunk you can't get a T but over time these crap calls get to you. KY played a better game the second half but they also had help the second half.
