What no one started one yet? Bases loaded in the bottom of the 1st, already 1-0. Need to post quickly before the score changes.

2-0 at the top of the 2nd. We were lucky, they had the bases loaded with no outs.

Marsh surrendered 3 hits and 2 walks in the B1. Kinda lucky the damage was not worse. They need him to give at least 3 more efficient innings today, if possible.

Holen takes called strike 3 for first out. When it rains, it pours...

Ground out third to catcher for second out. Red Raiders one out away from working out of bases loaded, no-out jam.

Runners at 2nd and 3rd with no outs for TTU in B3. Cats are challenging whether this double was a fair ball or foul.

Third day in a row with a 6-run inning allowed. (May end up being more, but 6 so far.)

Going to be a long year.
I don't agree. One, it's early, and two, Texas Tech (#3) is one of the best teams in the country. Look at the 2017 when we hosted and won the regional. We dropped the first 4 games before getting hot. Sure, we are going to face some tough opponents this season, but I think we will win our share.

Hard to say at this point. Texas Tech looked very beatable on paper based upon what they did a week ago. Allowed Oregon to hit .372 against them while only hitting .271 themselves. They are almost as young as we are with new players. So, you really have to think that we could compete a bit better, especially our hitting.

10 hits and 9 walks issued to first 31 TTU batters...

It's 12-2, still B4

Wow... We'll just have to cheer them on. I was afraid that they lost too much from last year. We are committing a lot of errors in the infield and the pitching is too young. We'll have a few more games before the SEC but we've a ways to go to even be competitive.

Kentucky is taking a beating and Shinn is taking a beaning. That'll teach him to hit their pitching.

Centerfielder can't field a routine fly ball!
