finally get some energy and hustle and mojo, and they make a couple slams and a shot

good defense.... very up and down first half. Mostly down. Only in the past few minutes have we really shown any fight. Maybe they can get the energy lift from the home crowd, but if they are playing like they did the first 3/4 half on the road .... that's when the Pope teams quit.

Is anyone really surprised? Well anyone who is realistic and thinks logically as a fan?
We missed out on all the big players we were after. Then we were hyped up on a mid-major guy who went off in just 2 games during the tournament, our 3rd choice for PG, an injury prone big guy, and a returning underclassmen who wasn't particularly dominant or anything last year.
The only legitimate get was Mom. The rest were scraps. But once Pope realized thats all he was getting, he worded it to make people think they were some crazy good team he put together, and people bought in.
