Kentucky Texas Tech Game Thread

[OldScratchBlues]

I don't know if I should feel bad or be happy for Milan.

[MidseasonTweak]

We cannot afford to not have Williams in the game. He is going to have to play almost 40 mins a game.

Unfortunately that's an impossible ask. I bet Morton would be better than Zoom

[ala_kat2]

Wilkins is a bit of a project.

So is Diallo

[cat tat2]

Williams is the best guard we have.

[bbnkat02]

Geez

We just do stupid stuff. Just had a good couple of minutes. Up 3. MM going to the line.

[Cats4321]

Williams was a nice addition. He's going to have to be a key guy for us to have success.

[RobEStacy]

This is hard to watch..... You have one of the best shooters in the nation.... And I don't think he has shot the ball once in the second half..... What on earth is our offense.... This looks worse than Cal Ball. Run plays for the man.... Its not rocket science...

[HolySmokes]

Pope thinks it’s okay to lose this game. That’s why he doesn’t have starters in right now.

20,000 people there...offense and defense was vanilla. .. when will you start not being vanilla? Never

[HolySmokes]

thoroughly unimpressed.

back to pitiful. Hawthorn gives us nothing out there

His yellow shoes are cool

[megablue]

We have 2 legit players, it seems to me, right now.
Momcilovic and Williams.
We need others to step up.

[ala_kat2]

Why is Momcilovic not getting any shots? Best shooter in CBB.

Other teams will focus their defense on him, and we have no guards who can create offense to get him open.

[Runt#1969]

Where's Mom ? We aren't getting him the ball or even looking for him. The few times have been as a third option and they were ready for him.

we've shot what 3 - 17 for three ?

egads.

TT isn't that impressive either. This is not what I was hoping to see out of this team tonight.

Careful, a couple may say you're whining for pointing out facts.

[UKCowboys]

He is for sure. Going to be hard for Pope not to start him.

He better start game one. Zoom can like it or not

[fisherscatfan]

Williams is a 5* talent. Zoom and Wilkins are awful.

He definitely bailed the ole Mark Pope running the picket fence offense there with the three.

[bbnkat02]

It's only "ok" in terms of record. If he wants to be the UK coach. This is a must win for season momentum

Yeah I've only been watching for 10 minutes and have been wondering the same thing.

[Maddman_rivals656981]

Score?

About the same as last year.......

[Anon1751335390]

Williams is a 5* talent. Zoom and Wilkins are awful.

I'm hoping Wilkins will be someone who improves steadily with more experience at this level. He's a sophomore stepping up from a mid major.

[BigBluefoot]

They purposely won’t pass to Milan.

Sure looks that way. Wonder who is running this team?

[Catastic5]

Williams is the only reason we’re winning.

[BCD]

MiMo needs touches.

[bbnkat02]

Williams MIGHT be the real freaking deal

[RoyKent]

Struggling to beat a fringe top 25 team missing their two best players is not great

[MbergCat]

What tf has Pope seen this summer to have Zoom starting over Williams?

[Farsight Clone]

If Pope doesnt start and play Mason Williams for most of the season he wants to lose games.

[megablue]

I don't know if I should feel bad or be happy for Milan.

$6,000,000 ... I do not feel sorry for him.

[MidseasonTweak]

What tf has Pope seen this summer to have Zoom starting over Williams?

Zoom got paid more.

[fisherscatfan]

Not sure our guys understand that you don’t have to use all 10 seconds to get the ball across mid-court.

[*Fox2Monk*]

I totally forgot this was on. Taking care of my Mom but still I would have never forgot a game before. SMH the level of excitement is that far gone for me. I hope we play better tonight. Let me get to reading lol.

At home even.....

[HolySmokes]

What tf has Pope seen this summer to have Zoom starting over Williams?

He payed him like a top guard in the country. He dont have the balls to make the right decision and we all know that.

[bnewt]

We have one of the best shooters on the floor and our guards could not care less to get him the ball. I don't know if it's a lack of play calling or selfish play, but it's hard to watch.

Lack of coaching
The guards either get the ball to the shooters or ride the pine

[UKWildcats1987]

Sure looks that way. Wonder who is running this team?

Not pope. He let the players tell him they wouldn't go play games n Bahamas this summer (which they clearly needed the reps in)

[rick64]

Thank goodness for FTs

[FLBBNFAN]

Yeah I've only been watching for 10 minutes and have been wondering the same thing.

Its crazy that he is not getting shots up.

[*Fox2Monk*]

Zoom has to get better. Getting beat to the rim constantly while on D.

He’s about exactly what I thought he would be. A mediocre D1 guard that is way overpaid.

[bbnkat02]

Wilkins....no no no no no no HOLY HELL YES!

I regret I can only have one like.

I hope that's not true. First I heard of it.
