Schieffelin has to be neutralized. If we don't have a player physical enough to check him, we cannot win this game.
Way too much one-on-one play, particularly from Kerr. Lots of negative plays overall from him. Butler has to play the majority, if not all, of the second half.
Rebounding and physicality is the difference. The officiating has helped Clemson, but our guys have to answer their intensity.

Well they got punched in the face that half and they didn’t respond. Lets see how they respond after the half.
Clemson shot 34% and is crushing us. They don’t even play well and are killing us.
This is the type of team that’s the worst matchup for us. A team that’s just going to turn it into a wrestling match with a bunch of big physical wide bodies combine with officiating that’s going to let them play 3 yards and a cloud of dust on hardwood.
Be interesting to see what Pope adjust defensively at half. Maybe play a zone and dare them to beat you from outside but clog the lane on their bigs. Also, they are getting back on D well anyways so play a 2-3 and send all 5 to the offensive boards. You’ll give a few 3s up but we are doing that already off the offensive rebounds

Don't think we are going to win this one running the offense through Williams and forcing tough 3 points shots. Got to get better looks. Definitely not from Kerr.
Arkansas did play one of the worst defensive teams in P5 basketball but yeah
He will be tagged with his 3rd foul in the first 3 minutes of the second half starting. Carr will get his 3rd before the first TV timeout.

Schiefflien getting 13 rebounds in half should just not happen.
Clemson is definitely playing with more energy, but they are also fouling a crap ton with no calls. There were at least 3 blatant fouls on the 7 ft Russian that would have directly resulted in about a 4-6 point swing
Hard to understand how Kerr was a starter on major conference teams the last four years.

Foul trouble with Butler and Carr will kill us all year. Our bigs got man handled for 13 rebounds by a 6'7 punk with a headband in one half. Playing very soft
I used to enjoy posting here but there's so many knee jerk reactions after even 1 play. It's honestly pathetic and embarrassing.
We were in worse shape at halftime against Duke. Let’s see what happens when we get our starters back out there and Pope has a chance to talk to his guys without all the noise.

This is Coach Pope's first freakin year with this group and we are ranked #4 playing on the road for the FIRST time against a team that was in the Elite 8 last season.

Butler, Oweh, Carr, Brea and rotate in the 5th between Williams/Garrison/Robinson/Almonor. That should be the lineup for 90% of the half
