A loss today and we are done. No way the selection committee will keep us in with a loss today. We have to win today and hope for no upsets in conference tournaments at minimum. Would love a win against Vandy to secure us not having to be in one ofthe play ingames. </p>

He has us as an 11, with 5 teams at the 12 seed level from major conferences, and then he has Northwestern in the 13-seed playoff game along with Drexel. If he really believes that, his seeding is off.

Often times teams get bumped up/down a seed based on matchups. For instance, earlier in the year we got bumped from a 7 seed to an 8 seed in one of his brackets due to the fact that he had us matched up with Baylor in a potential second round game.

Not saying that is the case here, but it could explain it.

and if we don't do that we don't deserve to be in. The question is does that clinch it? Winning another game against Vandy won't be easy.

And if he's adjusting his seedings for procedural reasons, he's really overdoing it. I really think they handle the matchup problems more by moving teams between sections of the bracke than by changing seeds. And in any case, it's so inexact all that really matters from a prediction standpoint is the seedings, not the actual 1st round matchups.
