Keys to beating Bama....from a tiger fan!!

First of all let me start by saying I think Miss State beats bama Saturday, and I will be pulling hard for it to happen....cause i do not like bama very much!! Here are what I think are the keys to beating bama......

1. Dak being healthy..... a healthy Dak Prescott will give bama fits in the running game.
2. Dak being accurate.......Bama's secondary is the weakest spot in their defense. With that being said their run defense is pretty good when they can load the box and run downhill, however I do not think they will be able to do that against state! I looke for state to run for 150+ yards against bama....and I think state throws for 250+.
3. To me the biggest factor is being able to stop Bama's run game.....I think state has one of the best front 7's in the country against the run, saturday with be the proof or rebutal to that statement.....hold Bama to under 130 rushing and you win!
4. States secondary is a concern to me, but I would double amari cooper and force Blake simms to beat you.....I dont think he is good enough to do that, but State's front four has GOT to get pressure on Blake simms.


I think if State can do those things above or be close to it...they will win!!


My prediction.....State 24.......Bama ......20!!

I think State is Physically the better team......limit the mistakes and state will be hard to beat! Good Luck.....I will be pulling hard for State!!!!

I agree with everything you said. Mullen has really grown up as a coach this season but he will probably have his usual brain fart at some point in the game like in the 2nd qtr against auburn. They loaded the box and dared us to throw the ball, so we tried to run three plays then tried the foolish faked punt and let the punter pass?! That kind of stuff could be the difference in winning and losing this one.
I also feel that we don't need to get conservative and "sit on" a lead if we get one. We need to keep the offense churning out points.

I think its all up to MSU. If MSU team that shows up in Tuscaloosa has the same intensity and energy as the MSU team that showed up in Baton Rouge, they will win. Big. I think finally playing a legit opponent and being an underdog will wake this team up, and they will once again play like the best team in the country. State 38 - Bama 21.
