I wasn't impressed with the interview.... Be a leader not a follower? I put the pieces of the pie together, just turn on the oven? He could end up in junior college, and who knows what will happen there, even though I went to junior college, and all the weed talk and him buying it for him when he is 30..... It came off wrong and about senior, in my opinion.

Agree. Dad sounded like he wasn't exactly dialed in.

Our staff need to do a urinalysis on all incoming freshmen. Perhaps this could have been nipped in the bud! Pun intended!

Key Sr. lives in Cali. Weed is legal there, if he wants to toke with his son when they are both adults it's basically the same as my pops and I having a beer. His point was, my future wealth isn't depending on you being a pro-athlete. If you want that for yourself then the path your on won't get you there. He took a drastic step to give his son the best path forward, whatever that might be. Fantastic parenting. Hope I can do that for my sons if needed.

Couldn't stand KJ Sr as a loud mouth player, (way over rated even though he never lived up to the first pick) but I respect how he handled this. Don't agree with him saying smoke weed if you want, but.......he was no angel and can relate.

should be more parents like this instead of blaming everybody else that his son ****** up he took the bull by the horns and did what he thought was right to show his son how it is going to be. good for him being the dad and not throwing the blame on everybody else. old school and I love it.

Let me translate that for you since you don't understand where KJ SR is coming from. " Once you're a adult you are responsible for your own decisions and consequences. While you're a minor and my responsibility you're going to follow my guidelines"
