Bobby Johnson flat out quit on his team with no explanation at all just 3 weeks before fall practice starts. I can't believe the huge pass he's gotten from the media for that. If he just didn't feel like coaching any more, the time to make that decision was last November, or this November. As big of a dick as Lane Kiffen is, and as much as he got criticized for leaving Tennessee at a terrible time, at least his decision made some sense. It was USC after all and Kiffen didn't choose the timing of that. Johnson should have gotten a lot more criticism than Kiffen did. But then again, it is Vandy football, so it's not like it really matters.

A writer/talk show host doesn't get that designation by not being controversial.

The Mullen love he is giving is huge PR for State. If we turn out 8 or 9 wins this season, it could be big for our future.

Well, if there's anyone in the SEC that should kicked out ahead of us, it's Vandy. Finebaum does actually make some good points. Their fans don't support the program. We haven't been racking up the W's lately, but at least we have the resemblance of an SEC caliber fan-base on our campus during home game weekends. We may be a doormat, but our fans still buy into the program (minus that last year of Croom, but we made changes and the fans reacted).

Yeah, they bring the academic profile of the SEC up, but who is the SEC really fooling with that? GA Tech has a great academic reputation, replace Vandy with them and call it a day...

by that really bad writer from the Orlando Sentinel? Except this guy wanted to put UCF in the SEC in Vandy's place.

I think Dan would leave too, but I just don't see LSU letting Les go right now.

Now here comes C34 to tell me why they will do it...

or who said it, but it went something like, "first they came for the _______, and I said nothing, then they came for the ______ and I still said nothing, then they came for the ________ and I said nothing, and then they came for me."

That's how I feel when I read pieces like that. So keep charter-member Vandy. </p>
