Dan, could you pretty pretty please with sugar on top hire a special teams coach who knows a thing or two about kicking?

PATs, fielding punts, kickoffs, punting... I mean, if we're gonna be honest with ourselves, let's not limit things to one thing. Our special teams as a whole has just been awful

kick coverage has been the one bright spot. We haven't allowed any special teams returns for TD's.

And right after another shank from Bell, we proceed to have Ross field a punt at the 4 yard line rather than letting it go into end zone. It's a circus out there

I was very happy do see Dan eating some kickers' asses out, not that it will do any good, but they deserve it. I know they're trying, but they need to try harder.

I think it's time to yank a couple of scholarships and start over in the kicking game. Sobiesk, Bell and Cooke are awful.

Would you have rather Graham muffed it inside the 5?

Gotta look on the bright side of these things

Sobiesk is 9-10 on FG this year so he is far from awful. Bell has been good all year until the last two games and Cooke is a true freshman. Our special teams is much better than last year and while still not great, is decent. The overreaction on this thread is quite amusing.

He's only attempted 2 FGs over 34 yards this year. He's 1-2 on those, with the make from only 37 yards. And he's missed 3 extra points. That's not good.

dont worry, as far as this season goes, it can only cost us 2 wins max at this point.

He's average at best, and Mullen knows it. That's why he's making his living kicking FG's less than 34 yards.

Your comment doesn't make sense. Do you know MSU is leading the conference with net ko return yards allowed? Good height on kos and excellent coverage.

So, "patdog" what's your agenda? You sure seem to know more about kicking talent than our coach we pay $3mill. "pull all k scholarships and start over"??? you wouldn't be happy with that. Sobiesk is having a good year, missed a couple extra pts...those are not always the k's fault. And with your knowledge, I figure you knew that.
