I think the BA/SL game is going to be a competitive game with Benet winning this one 24 - 14. MC crushes Hope 56 - 12, while PC upends Porter 38 - 20.

Why can't this be a showcase of Illinois football talent? Top teams from Illinois, MS, LWE, ESL, Loyola etc. vs top teams from around the country. Create some buzz instead of continuing to tread water. Big games generate recruiting interest.

It sounds easy in theory but it’s hard to pull off. In 2011 when WWS was at their height ESPN approached them and Glenbard West about playing a doubler header at Lucas oil Stadium in Indy against Warren Central and Cathedral High by the time every school made their demands the games were dead. Getting a bunch of top notch programs in one place unless you are paying big money is tough.

The said part is a lot of the demands are a cover up for not really wanting to play the game. If teams are really interested in playing each other, it can and will happen.
