I've been pondering about posting this since Monday. As most of you I my left kidney is functioning at about 33 per cent. This is because one of my MRI's showed there is scare tissue that is causing a blockage. I have had about 4 or 5 PCN exchanges due to leakage , wrong tube and twice coming completely out. These tube to help get my kidney ready for reconstructive surgery to remove the scar tissue and open the blockage and restore the flow of my urine. Monday I had an x-ray right before an appointment with my surgeon. When I met with him he showed me x-ray and proceeded to tell me that he could not see any scar tissue or blockage and was not going to consider any type of surgery at this time. He did however say that he wanted to make sure so the plan for now is to go 3 months, get another x-ray, tube exchange and meeting with him again. If the results are the same I will have the option of having the tube removed and begin full recovery and a normal life. I ask him why and he couldnt explain it. I don't really understand it either other than I'm grateful for all the thoughts and prayers that have been sent my way. I will let you guys know in 3 months. OFC

That is awesome news, Sky! If in 3 months everything still looks good, well, it couldn't get much better than that! I'm so thankful that all our prayers have been answered. Take care friend, you're in my thoughts and prayers always. God bless.

Great news to hear. Especially today because my dad had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance because suddenly started sweating heavily and his arm started going numb. My mom called me a little while after she got to the hospital to let me what was going on and she told me that he had a heart attack because the stint that they put in back in 2010 had gotten blocked so they put in a new stint and she said that he’s going to be ok. This was his 3rd heart attack, the first one was in 2010, the second one was in 2012 and then this one.

Sky, look up my Chinese doctor in durham. Ping He, he was western doc in china but does eastern medicine here. Docs wanted to take my gallbladder out. he cleared it up in five weeks. been going to him for other things over the years as well. he's off of 40 in rtp on hwy 55. he just puts your body in a natural poistion to heal. both western and eastern medicine is the way to go.
