we need to advertise like that in Bham, Memphis and Atlanta. On the panhandle too. Article says it costs $24k, sounds like a bargain to me.

Yeah, I don't think it is a big deal. Except the head coach is dressed like a kid.

I have to say though.......I was in Memphis for 12 years. I never saw a billboard advertising anything for MSU. That would be a smart thing for State to do. But I don't think it ever happened. Hell, State wasn't on the radio up there for most of those years.

that he has done this in the home state's of his main 2 rivals.

At least MSU is in MS. And hell, the billboard features someone from Batesville.

I don't really have a problem with it. I think its smart.

I saw it Saturday afternoon .. it looks pretty sweet. There's not a reason why we shouldn't market here, too.

A dear family friend of ours owns about half the billboards in and around the Greeneville/Spartanburg S.C. area. They are all on the major highways like I-85. If our Athletic Dept. wants to reach out in the same way to fellow SEC states, I have inside connections. Lots of great players come out of the Gaffney, Spartanburg, Greeneville areas.</p>
