Kiffin gets to join the 9 figure coaching club and have all the night games he wants.

His farewell to Oxford will be "it's business, baby."

What's crazy is that both governors of Florida and Louisiana are involved. That's how big college football has gotten.

I'm still not 100% sold that Kiffin is leaving, but my LSU buddy said they have cut off their coaching search. If that's the case then Kiffin has to be their guy.
If you had to lay a bet on it how would place that bet?

He’s leaving. Lane & UM have too much on the line Friday to be trolling. Win & they may get a bye or at the least host a pretty bad playoff team. Lose & they’re on the road vs a good team & possibly miss the playoffs. Only way they lose is if there’s instability in their program. Why world they create that instability just to troll their own fans?

My LSU connection says that Kiffin to LSU is already a fact and they aren’t even interviewing anyone else. I’m still not convinced it’s not all just a troll job. Either way someone is going to be very disappointed this time next week.

One thing I have heard no one mention is they (UM) desperately want to be the host site for the on campus playoff game. I have heard the figure of 70 million of revenue for the city of Oxford. I don't know if that is accurate, but there is simply no way UM administration is playing games with this. I personally think he is gone and they all know it.

Where did $70mm come from? That seems pretty high for one game. I could believe $5-7mm for a weekend, but 70 seems high for anywhere.

Until it's "officially" announced he's leaving, I won't believe any of this bs. That said, what he's doing to Ole Miss is in extremely poor taste.

It certainly feels like if he was going to stay it would have been announced after his meeting with Keith Carter.
