Nice, warm beaches and turquoise water. Deep sea fishing year round. Please šŸ™„Give me Sardis or give me death!
I don't disagree that he is likely to go to Florida, but I don't think people realize that he is on a PJ as often as he wants to go fishing, go to USC to watch his daughter play, and anything else he wants. The geography is irrelevant.

It's about which program will guarantee that they will pay for a top 5 roster every year. Florida has that advantage.

He's about as good as Mullen at addressing these things directly...honestly unless he is just looking for one last large payday before he gets out of coaching, I think he's dumb to leave. He can't spend the money he has now.
If he wants a national (or even conference) championship, and most coaches do, he will leave for one of the jobs open this year.

The ol ā€œthey are telling recruits he is the next coachā€. Almost as good as flight tracking.

What good does it do to tell recruits that he is coming. It’s not like signing day is next week. Seems kind of silly but, if it is true, maybe the UF tards can’t contain their excitement and want to jerk it while telling about their new corch.

Also who is telling them that? Do people think Stricklin went to a lame duck staff and said tell them all he is coming.

They’re both salty and sharks 17 in both. I’m calling them both ocean.
I only did that because you started your reply to OP with "you do realize" and then went on to post something that is objecitively false

I realize that the Gulf is technically not an ocean. I also know that when people ask me before going in a store if I want a coke, they aren’t specifically limiting me to a Coca Cola. For Lanes purposes both the Gulf and the Atlantic have beaches with scantily clad women. Both require similar boats for recreational purposes. Both require similar fishing methods. Both are bigger than Sardis. Both are saltwater.

The unfortunate part of this for all of you that actually care is that Ole Miss is 9-1. Lane is more worried about the playoff than he is the next job.
Lane is more worried about how much money the rumors his agent is putting out will get him from Ole Miss.

He's rich no matter what. Money isn't what the motivator is at the moment. He wants to win like every other coach. This is similar to when Michigan was trying to lift Miles from LSU, well, he kept winning and he chose a chance at the natty over his alma mater (twice if I remember correctly).

Considering how they played against Georgia on the road, I'd say he'd got more than a puncher's chance at it too. I know you hate to hear that but you better accept it. Chances are low they'd win it but very good that they could make some noise.

Would the Miami Dolphins pay Kiffin 12 to 15,000,000 a year?

Miami currently pays their guy 3.5 million per year. Rumor is Florida Gators are offering 13 to 15,000,000 per year to Kiffin.

He ain't going anywhere. Flipping their own recruit.
I'm believing this now too. As desperate as OM is for the spotlight, and as experts at playing the media, I'd bet good money this is what they are doing.

I live in Jacksonville and know a couple of two Bull Gators or whatever they are called, and they both told me that Kiffin is asking for $15 mil. One said they would be crazy not to pay it, and the other thought that was a ridiculous number.

I hope you guys aren't hoping too hard.

Kiffin will coach at OM for 8 more years - probably make the playoffs 6 to 7 of the 8 and may get lucky and win a natty. Then he'll retire somewhere in Cali.

He'll be happy as 17n clam with the choice and so will OM.

Ole Miss's problem here is they believe 100% of their own hype (Ole Miss is perfect and Oxford is perfect). To them it is everyone's dream final destination.....alums, students, employees, all others. They do not believe in the expression "different strokes for different folks" and they cannot comprehend a world where some may not want to live there forever.

It's one more example of the cult like hive mind there. Brainwashed.

I’m trying to figure out which one of these posts I’m supposed to reply to with ā€œto the rescue!ā€ I could make a case for the majority of them
