Kim Dameron and Ron Dickerson out at OM?

had a friend text me that a rumor on om rivals site was that Dameron and Dickerson have been fired. Dameron would make sense because he was their secondary coach. If Dickerson was fired, I would be surprised. Anyone else heard anything?

Nutt brought I think 4 coaches with him from Arkansas, Markuson, Rocker, Shibest, and Vaughn. I may be missing someone. Rocker left for Auburn. Dickerson, Dameron, both Nix's, Rader, and Price are the other coaches 6 coaches.

I figure if he was going to fire Nix, it would've happened by now, and he probably won't fire Tyrone's brother if he's not canning Tyrone. That leaves Dickerson, Dameron, Rader, and Price. I'm assuming some of that mix will be the sacrificial lambs, if anyone.

And honestly, I don't think firing any of those coaches would change much.

To my knowledge, nothing definitive has happened with coaches yet. As for specificity, I'll simply say that firing Dickerson right now would be, to put it nicely, a strategic gamble. Some would say it would be remarkably risky. Others would say it would be phenomenally stupid. I wouldn't argue with any of those assessments.

I don't know of any firm information regarding changes on Ole Miss' staff. It's possible that news is out there that I haven't seen, but again, I haven't seen it and I haven't heard anything remotely firm regarding impending changes.

I just texted Houston Nutt and asked if he could confirm, deny or specify rumors regarding coaches on his staff being dismissed. He responded that he hasn't done anything yet.
