TJ Yeldon flipped from Auburn to Bama last year and said this:

the last few weeks, I've really put a lot of time and thought into
where I want to go to school and continue my football career," Yeldon
said in the statement. "I am blessed to be in a situation where I have
several great opportunities and I appreciate everyone involved who has
helped me get to this point.</p><p style="background-color: rgb(251, 251, 253); font-family: Verdana,Geneva,Tahoma,'Trebuchet MS',Arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12px; color: rgb(56, 57, 75); margin-top: 4px; margin-bottom: 8px; line-height: normal;">"I

That there appears to be a boilerplate flipping speech where the flipper merely fills in the blanks. Or perhaps the second guy just liked the first guy's speech so much that he copied it.

I usually agree that you should follow the money, but in this case I believe that, if there is money, it is coming from BOTH sides. Maybe, Bama isn't cheating these days because they don't have to, but they certainly have in the past. When Big 10 or Pac 12 people complain to me that the SEC cheats, my response has always been, "You are correct, but the guys that get paid were going to an SEC school anyway. The money just helped them choose which one. SEC teams bid against themselves, not against Big 10 or Pac 12 teams."

I think its just Auburn letting Bama know that they can buy players and make them flip too. Kinda a wink wink...see what you did with Yeldon, we did the same thing with foster

Chizik took Yeldon's speech and basically just changed the proper nouns as a "We got you back!" move.

It is, as Shum pointed out, little dickdisease.

I remember reading in the USA today a few years back that this guy who both parents died in a American Airline plane crash back in the 60's or 70's had a brother kill on a American Airline crash several years back. American Airline sent him a letter to give condolence to the family. He went back a pulled the letter they got when his parents were killed and it was the same exact letter with another signature at the bottom.

the airline has a standard "sorry for your loss" letter. Change dates, names, and mail.

or something just kind of stupid/unnecessary. We'll just change the names and send the exact same email out about something trivial.
