I like it. No doubt there are fewer active people these days. I see the same empty playgrounds and fields in my city.
The one thing that is different about today’s video games compared to 20 years ago is the online social aspect. Whole groups can “hang out” without anyone leaving the house. The games are pretty advanced and can definitely be interesting.
My son certainly enjoys some video games, and I don’t try to completely prevent that. It helps that I’ve found that he prefers physical activity if there is something/someone available. He’s been showing dedication to practicing and working out, so some evening Xbox time is ok with me.
