King & Queen rider points (for Gunz41).......

Gunz41 you were absolutely correct in that the VHSL only recognizes games played during its 11-week regular season period. So, King & Queen does not get 2 rider points for Portsmouth Christian's Aug. 24 win over Fredericksburg Christian.
Handbook section 68-1-5 and 68-1-6 refer to the regular season dates – “Dates 1 through the 11th football playing weekend shall be regular season dates…” and “The first official play date shall be Week 8 of the NFHS calendar and after all preseason requirements have been met”.

I thought I was correct, BUT I wouldn't have been surprised to be wrong. I'm so used to doing things in 2B and don't have to worry about it.

The only reason I had any inclination was getting correct records since I started doing the 2 playoffs for rider points. But some of the games for these teams that didn't count in the past do now for whatever reason
