just sounds so dumb. I realize he thinks it's a cute, witty insult, but just so dumb and forced. That term was common 40 years ago, but it changed to Starkvegas many years ago.

I'm older than him too, but I moved to saying Starkvegas many years ago.

Rob Jay, WLBT sports, starting using the term, "Starkvegas" widely in 90s and it stuck.

He's an LSU fan too. Baton Rouge is just Jackson with an SEC school. I'd rather live somewhere smaller and simpler than a ghetto.

I never got into Starkvegas. I go with Starkville.

It’s bigger than a patch but not a Vegas either. 😂

I didn’t move to the area until this millennium which may be why it’s not stuck with me…

No you aren't, both are corny and not that funny.

I like Wake Up Barstool and occasionally watch their gameday show when I think about it. None of their other content is appealing to me.

Kingfish is just trying to be cool for his ole miss buddies that he hopes will accept him into their self anointed elite social strata. I enjoy reading his blog, but he do enjoy felating the douchebags

I actually enjoy SEC Shorts & SEC Roll Call and listen the BFWs barstool content. Barstool is irreverent kinda like the boys locker room conversation. Barstool is an acquired taste.

We used "Starkpatch" when I was in school, and I sometimes still say it when talking to old classmates. It's a term of endearment, not an insult. Young people don't even understand the reference.

"Starkvegas" is funny because its ironic. But I have never used it because its just a ripoff of "Nashvegas". Nashvegas started as a snarky reference to the glitzy tourism sections being developed.

I know I am old.....but I do not consider "STARKPATCH" an insult at all......I lovingly still refer to StarkVegas with Starkpatch from time to time........

Which reminds, me, where does one get a "MOO U" shirt?.....need to try on in person as I am getting "less fatter"

In my lifetime, I've experienced "Starkpatch" and "Starkvegas" Don't really care. I accept the nicknames for what they are - just nicknames. Don't consider either to be an insult or anything.
