We will be fine. Our kids seem to lose focus after going up 20-7 in the 1qtr. When you start eight sophomores and a freshman on your varsity than you have to live with the growing pains.You guys pulled it off but it was nowhere near a suplex.

Don’t have a dog in the fight but if I remember right Burns had 3 turnovers including a pick 6. They also had a ton of penalties so all that is a moot point. That pick is the reason we’re both not 1-1 right now. He’s acting like we played great and they played bad which is the only reason it was close. Nah… We have to clean it up on our end no doubt but with KM’s schedule and playing 6A ball they have way more to be concerned about.

I don’t want to take anything away from Burns’ players and their coaching staff but just like you guys played differently from last week, we did also. I didn’t comment on that until you started bumping your gums. Stating the obvious for us is not an insult. We also used a different front seven from the Shelby game and again I didn’t mention that.
The pick six was a huge play but it didn’t decide the game because it happened in the first half. If that pass wasn’t completed than you are punting from your 2yd yard line and we would have definitely come after the punter. If the qb would have held into the ball than it was going to be safety with you guys kicking off to us. Also how would it sound if I posted what ifs? Good luck to Burns the rest of the year and shoutout to Max Davis who is a stud. Much success to that young man.

Anyone with any football IQ is aware that I was referencing our defensive front 7. Burns nor Crest posters can never get me flustered. Buns is 0-2 and I don’t hear Shelby fans boasting about “almost” winning. I will give them that. Crest colors still look like dehydrated urine stains.
