It's kind of unfair to judge him yet, but I'm pretty hesitant at this point in this deal.

He's just now getting the team turned around, and for a while there I was worried we wouldn't even make World Cup. It's going to be hard to judge him on wins and losses if we do lose out of that group, because it's a crappy draw. I'm a "quality of play" believer, anyway. He's had some games where the quality of play was good, but a LOT of it was bad. And some of it was him trying to establish his system, and I get that- but I think he underachieved at times.

I dont know. I'm not in tuned enough to know what major changes he's made at the youth level- I know he's working at getting that better, and that should be a primary target. I still don't know if I think he needs to be signed like this right now, though.

I disagree on

your assessment that he's just now getti g the team turned around. In my opinion, it's been there for a while.

I have to disagree too. We're not there yet, but Klinsmann has instilled an aggressive attitude in this team I've never seen before. No more hunkering down and hoping to eek out a 0-0 or 1-1 draw against the good teams. Much more competition for players to get roster spots and playing time. A lot more friendlies against good European and South American teams.

Klinsmann has yet to be a Top 25 team.

How long will it before he gets a win over Top 25 Team?

I will post this at regular intervals until he accomplishes this.
