This season just ain't happening. I'm not particularly passionate about one side or the other, but it seems to me that the owners have made it abundantly clear that they would rather not operate than continue under the current circumstances. I'm not sure why the players seem to still think that they're bluffing, but the two sides have made virtually zero progress in nearly four months and until the players start getting realistic, I think the owners will continue to simply walk away. You can tell that Stern is extremely disappointed with the lack of progress. I guess we'll see what happens this weekend.

He loves the game of basketball as much as anyone in the NBA and he knows his biological clock is ticking. He only has so many years left and probably is not real keen on waiting out a strike. It is not like he needs the money.

These idiot NBA players are going to break the league doesn't rein in their salaries. Many of the teams are already in the red.
