I may be wrong... But, would stealing signals not just be the equivalent of just watching to see what they're doing before a play and then looking for it again throughout the game? I thought teams constantly changed signals during the game? Sounds like excuse making, if you ask me..
I heard Snyder mention that, I think at the halftime break. He didn't say "stealing" ... he said something to the effect that "they are getting our signals and we need to fix that in the second half." He didn't imply anything illegal was going on from that statement, just that Auburn was watching closely and figuring out what they were going to do. Nothing wrong with that.
Yeah, it's probably something the media took and ran with... I mean if it's common practice, it's not a big deal, just change it up. But yeah, we had headset gate in 2011, and then the Arkansas coaches getting stuck in the elevator a couple weeks ago
