Hope so. I like Shrader and hope he takes over when KT is officially gone but this should be KT's team.

if he does he does. he couldn't even play under moorhead because he got knocked out by a team mate after practice. keeping jo wasn't worth him staying or leaving. i be he and kt both reconsider at least through the spring to see what new coach comes in installs.

I'd almost take bets that Shrader leaves.

And I understand this may be controversial, but I am not sure I'd be completely disappointed if this happened. I think he's a smart QB and an athletic guy, but he has a lot of growing up to do and he has some physical limitations throwing the football. Hopefully he sticks, redshirts next year, and takes the opportunity to grow up and get better. If he comes back and wins the starting job in Napier's system, I'll be the first one rooting for him.

I'm afraid Shrader burned some bridges in the locker room. We'll see but with his Yankee coach's *** getting drug out of town...I think he'll hall ***.

Joe is not gonna get a head-coaching job again. I doubt he even gets a power 5 OC job after what he did at MSU.
Where would Schrader go?

If it's Napier then I believe Shrader will be staying. I'll leave it at that.

Does KT stay now? Do we loose marks? Or Schrader? Either way praise baby Jesus.

What are the odds that Napier wasn’t recruiting KT to begin with. Shrader is great! But what a sight it would be to watch KT in Napies offense.

I know this isn't a popular opinion, but I don't understand why so many people feel that KT has been mistreated. Every player that signs a scholarship does so believing that he is going to be the starter at whatever position he plays. Many end up on the third string and see no playing time at all. The QB position is no different than any other position. As big a clown as Joe Moorhead is, I believe that he would have started KT if he had been the best player available at the position. KT entered the transfer portal and had no takers so he may not be as great as many of the fans believe. If our new coach believes that KT gives us the best opportunity to win, then by all means I hope and believe that KT will be the starting QB. If he isn't, then KT should not, and hopefully will not be the starting QB.

That'd definitely be the ideal scenario. At this point, his numbers are just marginally better than what we saw from Nick in the past, but I'm trying to remind to myself that he is just a true freshman, and I think a redshirt year in the right system would do him wonders.
