Keenum/Dean of Students asked Byrne to reach out to UK and get a list of the numbers that texted Cousins racist comments. Cousins was able to show a few messages that said "Get ready to lose" or "SWAT is going to get you" but nothing racist. He said that he deleted those messages.

This would go a long way with those who think he is a Rebel...

Hey if Arkansas fans can get ahold of Nutts phone records...there might be something to it.

Im calling ******** on the racist texts for the most part..there might of been a couple but I think
he is just playing on the racist image of Mississippi more so and enjoying the extra attention..

No doubt though..he is one hell of a player.
But he is a POS and was trying to start **** when the players were shaking hands after the game.
Luckily one of our players lost his cool else where instead of on his face.

That's what they retrieved on Nutt with their FOIA requests, just a record of who he was calling and texting. Unless you can confiscate the phone, I don't believe you can find out exactly what was said.

I just find it funny that so many people are baffled at the thought that an MSU fan would ever use the N word. This is the South. We all have fans that use it and would use it in that situation.

I don't think anyone on this site is naive enough to think that no MSU fan would ever use a racial slur. As OP4 points out, every school in the country has a few fans like that. But for Cousins to claim that he received offensive racial texts and then to refuse to forward them to Byrne does raise the question of whether or not they exist. Especially when they can be retrieved even if they've been deleted.
