and no doubt this guy, while unproven, will probably be missed, but do we really want a guy of this level of intelligence on the team? I mean, it's better he got in trouble now, than when we had gotten to a point to where we depended on him in the middle of a football season.

The right people would distribute it and various states would have a lot more money to use in their budgets.

Now because of a plant this kids life is ruined. Taxpayers are having to pay for his punishment and he gets to take up a jail cell that will let a rapist or murderer get out early on a quick parole. It just doesn't make sense.</p>

but it's still stupid. Too much jail space is being occupied by people doing time for ******** marijuana charges. I was watching this CNBC special on this county in California that pretty much exists only bc they are allowed to grow marijuana. The whole town's economy revolves around it. The guy said the government (local and federal) makes close to a million dollars a year off his shop (you need a medical marijuana card to purchase).

the **** outta pot could bolster our floundering **** economy. Tax the **** out of it cause ppl will still buy, create jobs, etc.

it costs that much to grow it. Good **** is at least $100 a quarter.

I completely and fully agree that it's stupid to for personal possession of marijuana to be illegal...it's no more dangerous than alcohol or cigarettes. Two things though:

1. It is illegal and he got busted.
2. Dude had a pound, and whichever way your argument goes concerning the whole legality issue, it's pretty hard to justify having a pound of weed.

And I think the county that show was about was Humboldt County, if I'm not mistaken?

you get a better price the more you buy. Now the $100/quarter stuff this obviously wasn't. But it still could've been some decent mid-grade stuff. $40-50/qtr, 120-140/oz.. like I said, if you got a good connect, you can get a good price if you buy in bulk.

that is the $50-75 an eighth stuff. But that stuff has names for it's strains.

but you're right, mid-grade can do that. Down here in south Texas, the cheap stuff is VERY cheap.
