objectionable than even the ky jellies.....try as i might to pull for notre dame to send ashley judd and the rest of the kentucky acolytes home in tears......i just couldn't pull for notre dame even under those circumstances.....just couldn't......

it was not any temporary weakness on my part in despising the scientology-like uk fan cult (try living around them), it's that if any fan base is more intolerable than that of the kentucky wildcats/branch davidians, it's the entitled, smug, exceedingly irritating notre dame fans......so i had to make a tough choice......

but if notre dame won the game, i still would have taken joy in uk losing and seeing their wacko fans double over in agony.....maybe wisconsin can give me both......

btw, the notre dame guy got fouled right before he took the last shot.....he was run into by the uk player on the sideline.....it was good, in a way, to see notre dame not get a call, even if it was in favor of the scientologists......

I 100% agree. And when you talk about crooked programs, you can't leave out Notre Dame. You can't tell me these players who graduate high school and score just high enough on the their SATs can go to a decent school and miraculously compete in the classroom. How many of those kids would be accepted into ND if they couldn't play a game?

What this is about is which program can provide the greatest benefits to attract the best athletes and than leverage that into making dollars. It has nothing to do with anything else. Thinking it does and acting like it does is being out of touch with reality.
