Wheeler will start IMO, and any chemistry this team had at one point will be challenged. But he will get the ball to Oscar, so there's that. As long as he's not in mid-air doing it.
No he won't.

It was also the only game that Wheeler played in. We actually had a guard that could stay in front of his man.Robbins wasn’t hurt in the game we won. So Stackhouse played us straight up and didn’t go with a small lineup that our coach had no answer for?
I feel exactly the same way, but our coach has his own train of thought. Why would he start? Lol.
It's kind of important if a basketball player is overweight. You guys seem awfully obsessed with how a college kid looks....Sound kind of creepish to me. Has anyone seen him in his birthday suit? Just borderline cringy this is with all the talk about his body.
I watched Cal's preview of the game tonight and he acted like Wheeler wasn't going to play even if he is around 80%. Not sure if he is just BS'ing or whatKyle dropped a lot of hints about Wheeler playing tonight. Can tell he’s getting the push from Cal to pump Wheeler up.
Makes me even more nervous for tonight. Hope he doesn’t play
It was also the only game that Wheeler played in. We actually had a guard that could stay in front of his man.
I agree, 5-10 for tonight's game. He's been out for over a month.5-10 minutes tonight. 8-12 Sunday.
Like Barkley? It's kind of important if a basketball player is overweight.
Yeah that's really similar.Barkley an inside guy who counts on banging versus Wheeler a small point guard who counts on quickness.Like Barkley?
Does he appear to be 300+ lbs? I'm sure he works out more than most of us do...Hell, I know he does more than me.It's kind of important if a basketball player is overweight.

I don’t see that happening. The BBN will explode if he does, though.Wheeler will start IMO, and any chemistry this team had at one point will be challenged. But he will get the ball to Oscar, so there's that. As long as he's not in mid-air doing it.
DamnWTF kind of false premise is this BS? You made it weird weirdo.
Damn![]()
Only the jerks and people we don't need as fans will explode.I don’t see that happening. The BBN will explode if he does, though.
You all are the ones who keep discussing his looks and his body. Frankly, I'd rather discuss the game rather than how a college kid looks in his clothes.WTF kind of false premise is this BS? You made it weird weirdo.
the issue seems to be they don't want to watch the Cats loseSome fans would rather lose than see Wheeler play. Very sad.

They've lost to Vandy twice when he wasn't playing...the issue seems to be they don't want to watch the Cats lose
they have certainly watched the Cats lose enough with Wheeler playing.
Did I say your name? No, There have been a few posters to talk about him and what he looks like. I just have never been so infatuated with an athlete to judge his or her body...just their talent. To quote Erkel: “Did I do that?”
Well, he definitely shouldn’t start over Wallace.Only the jerks and people we don't need as fans will explode.
yepThey've lost to Vandy twice when he wasn't playing...
No one can guarantee a win or loss. With him in for a few minutes at a time, he can definitley give players a rest. He's not useless. He is tougher in the paint than some of our players. The countless mistakes I have saw Oscar make when he's forced out of the post. Has Wheeler been careless with the ball in the past...yes but so has alot of other players. Wheeler don't care to drive to the basket.yep
guaranteed win with Wheeler playing spot minutes and Cal managing the game
history tells us that
I have no issue with Wheeler, I have issue with Cal's belief of when and how to use Wheeler. My beef with Wheeler is about Cal, but at some point Wheeler has to understand that he is not the man who should have the ball in his hands in late game situations or end of shot clock possessions. You play to your strengths. No one can guarantee a win or loss. With him in for a few minutes at a time, he can definitley give players a rest. He's not useless. Maybe or maybe not, but that's not the same thing as "exploding".Well, he definitely shouldn’t start over Wallace.
Well, I leave the coaching to Cal. I'm not a coach and I do not profess to know the X's and O's enough to call a game. I'm just a fan....that's it.I have no issue with Wheeler, I have issue with Cal's belief of when and how to use Wheeler. You really should have issue with Cal not doing any coaching, prep or adjustments. That's what makes Wheeler and other players look bad. Playing to your strengths doesn't begin and end with lineups or who's in the game. There's a lot more to it than that, but people whose basketball knowledge is lacking can't comprehend more than the jimmies and joes.I have no issue with Wheeler, I have issue with Cal's belief of when and how to use Wheeler. well first of all I said my beef with Wheeler was with CalYou really should have issue with Cal not doing any coaching, prep or adjustments. That's what makes Wheeler and other players look bad. Who was that?It was also the only game that Wheeler played in. We actually had a guard that could stay in front of his man.
Did I miss him playing Vandy 2X ?the issue seems to be they don't want to watch the Cats lose
they have certainly watched the Cats lose enough with Wheeler playing.
ahh, again, you're one of the ones guaranteeing a win with Wheeler in the gameDid I miss him playing Vandy 2X ?
That move he has going past his man n getting layup is tough to stop. He was getting that last year against st Peter's aswell.Like, you don't want him to play at all???
Wallace can't play 2 games in 3 days at 37-40 minutes each game.
I get it, Wheeler should never be a starting pg, but at 10mpg, he would be a huge lift, especially against teams that don't know much about him.
Maybe or maybe not, but that's not the same thing as "exploding".
At one point I thought Reeves could play PG. I don't believe that anymore. I don't think Reeves would do well at the point for long. Reeves has sometimes looked pretty good in the few times he's been placed in pick and roll situations. In fact, I'd like to see more of that on some trips down the floor. And for this team in particular it's crucial Reeves be on the floor and provide scoring. But I think we would agree that being able to make a few moves with the basketball (e.g., cross-over, behind the back, etc.) is a different thing than being able to handle the ball as the focal point for longer periods (e.g., the majority of time in every shot clock period) while also keeping conscious of where everyone else is on the floor and getting them the ball in the right spots. I think Thiero, Reeves and Toppin all can bounce the ball around pretty well, and together maybe get UK through a game; but not be good options at PG for any extended period. If neither Wallace nor Wheeler are on the floor, I believe a healthy Fredrick might be the best of the weak options to cover PG (although, again, I don't think it would be good for extended minutes).I'm not sure why you guys think Reeves can't handle the point??? he has a good handle and is deadly on pick n roll
Because you just put your scorer in a role that takes him out of being a scorer. We already did that to Wallace.I'm not sure why you guys think Reeves can't handle the point??? he has a good handle and is deadly on pick n roll
Look I’m not Wheelers biggest fan. But we did plenty of losing without him as well.the issue seems to be they don't want to watch the Cats lose
they have certainly watched the Cats lose enough with Wheeler playing.
