For starters, I know the rules.







So, there. Now, onto business.

For those that haven't heard the youngest of the Kardashian clan is on pace to be the youngest billionaire ever. She currently has an estimated worth of ~$900 million thanks to her lip care line.

First let me preface this by saying that kudos to the Kardashians. They know how to manipulate their audience, have an eye for business, and churn out a fortune. I wish I had the opportunity to make the kind of money they make.

Now, the onto the first part. The "self made" part often seen in a lot of articles. Do you all see her as a "self made" billionaire? If you are a kid who's family is stinkin' filthy rich.....and are constantly in the public eye because of the fame that your older family members have created for you.......do you still qualify as "self made?" To me she capitalized on her family money and fame.....then spring boarded into further riches.

Second, apparently a comedian started a GoFundMe page to help get her to $1 billion. (the link is below) Now, I know it was probably meant to be a joke, but you know she's gonna make a fortune from people just giving her money.

I think I might start a GoFundMe account just asking people for money too.

I thought about coming up with a thoughtful response but then realized I don't give enough of a **** to take the time to do that. I would say she is certainly not self made however. I would also say she'll be one of the most depressed billionaires of all time as she's had a lot of surgery for a 20 year old or however old she is and probably has an underlying psychological issue.

She actually made most of her money from launching and pimping a cosmetic line for young women. Only about 20% of her wealth comes from the family reality show.

Bull. I know guys who are millionaires that came from zero. I know one who Worked temp factory jobs through school and today is a very wealthy financial advisor, his father beat him relentlessly until he was out of the house at 17. No one helped him at all.

Contrary to popular political opinion, most wealthy people earned it.

The kardashians however no.

“I know people” some in my own family who obtained wealth on their own with no help other than the employer who was willing to work them like a slave for little money and a bank willing to “help them” if you want to call it that while attending school. I don’t call any of that help personally.

If your idea of help is structured around the idea that unless you personally paid for the road you drove down on your way to success then you didn’t achieve everything on your own - sure, no one has done anything on their own. You got me Obama.

I don’t care about the alternative thought or the need some have to overthink and sound ridiculous. I’ve lived enough to see enough, and there are many people who came from nothing to extreme success If you want to attempt to “quantify” and data collect or theorize to try and understand that, Knock yourself tf out. I’d rather shoot some ball in my driveway and laugh at you.

When they say "self made" I'm pretty sure they're talking about going to build a bear workshop and picking out what new pieces of plastic they want in their body.......but what do I know?

Which she got simply because of the exposure/platform she was born into. If she wasn’t a Kardashian/Jenner, no one would give a ****.

Kylie has a pimp for a mother and a sister who helped bring them into the mainstream (E giving them a show helped). She simply lined up as the perfect age for the celebrity-obsessed crew.

I really can’t believe there are people out there who added to their wealth because they’re the worst.

When I started this thread they had $200 in the account. It now around $1750. 113 people have contributed in 3 days.


What I want to know is if this money will really get to her? Can the comedian just pocket the $ legally? I wouldn’t think so, but I don’t know how those Go Fund Me things work.

Wood NOT. With any of that clan. No telling how nasty and disgusting all of them are. Plus, as others have mentioned, not even sure they're human anymore with all the lifts, tucks, injections, implants, surgery, etc.

Are we going to ignore the fact that there are idiots out there donating money to get her to the Billion mark? I mean c'mon I can think of thousands of organizations such as American Cancer Society to donate money to but these millennials are out here donating to a millionaire. :chairshot:
