I would disagree with that. I think Loyola would hold their own and possibly win in many of those matchups. Any given Friday (Saturday).....

I think Moeller and St. X are not as strong as in past years. X lost the #1 OT in the country to Cincy Princeton as he wanted to graduate early and enroll in OSU in January. I think they could hang with Mentor (Fighting Trubiskie's) and St. Ed's.

Loyola wasn't embarrassed against Ignatius, but the Ramblers lost by 17 on a neutral field to the obviously better team. I'm not saying that Loyola wouldn't hold its own. But, I am saying that Loyola would absolutely be the underdog in all of those matchups except Moeller.

I'd be interested in Edgy's input in this debate.

Iggy got beat last night by Mentor, 38-31. Mentor has beaten the two NE Ohio Catholic behemoths (St. Ed’s last week) in back to back weeks.

Good chance Iggy falls to 1-2 with Hoban on the schedule next week.
