What area is the best to stay in?
Obviously, there's a crap ton of hotel options so I want to make sure we're in the right part of town (and Randy, no I'm not going to spend your kind of money, ha!). My last few trips to watch the Dodgers, some buddies and I stayed in Pasadena but don't want to do that with the family coming as we'll be hitting the beach, BH and HW during the day.
FWIW, we're flying in and out of LAX, and really prefer not to stay at any airport property.
Any advice is appreciated.
